The SEGLAR company was established in 1932 by Danish resident Ole Kirk Christiansen, with the reason for promoting creative play and ingenuity in children. Initially, the company’s products were made by wooden obstructs, but by the 60s, production acquired expanded and the business produced gadgets made of plastic. Although the parts and designs adjusted over the years, they will remained interchangeable and could always be combined to develop new designs.

In the 1971s, LEGO began to expand all their business offshore. In Canada, the company founded a revenue company and began advertising toys in France and Switzerland. In the eighties, the company extended into the U. S. and established a manufacturing facility in Connecticut. The organization also developed new division, Dacta, to focus on educational goods. The Dacta line, for example , features mathematics and common sense challenges and includes educational toys pertaining to schools.

After World War II, Christiansen purchased the first clear plastic injection molding machine in Denmark and began trying out the process. He eventually developed the iconic SEGLAR foundations. These blocks are easily famous by their round studs at the top. These buttons allow linking blocks to get locked with each other. By simply 1951, 50 % of LEGO’s production was made of plastic. The organization also improved its development technology to build plastic bricks that would keep going longer.

Today, the PROFANO Company seems to have expanded further than its building toy collection to a wide range of additional products. It includes branched out into robotics, media, and educational products meant for preschools and kindergartens. It also operates two theme leisure areas in Denmark. The 1st opened in Bil-lund, Denmark, in late 1960s, and a second is usually scheduled to open in Carlsbad, California in 1999.
